The boutique salon 'Flavas Hair Beauty' was established in 2004 to deliver exceptional hair colour, styles and service. With a relaxing friendly vibe Flavas has grown through education and knowledge offering natural plant based professional and retail products that deliver superb shine, coverage and longevity.

While the team at Flavas Hair Beauty strive for excellence in hair services, client care and their professional standards of salon presentation, fair employment standards and a high level of salon education and marketing the Australian Hairdressing Council (AHC) has awarded Flavas Silver Salon Select Accreditation.

However watch this space as the team continue their journey for GOLD.

For over 15 years Flavas has supported and promoted Australian, Plant Based, No Animal Testing or Ingredient Products by using DeLorenzo Hair Care. By being an ASPYA Salon Member with DeLorenzo, Flavas has made Sustainability a priority, which is why we are a member of the Sustainable Salon Program. We believe a positive change can be made from practices that reduce, reuse and recycle salon waste. Not only does this help to keep the planet greener, the program helps local communities and charities.

It is through our actions the AHC has also recognised Flavas' commitment for a greener future with an AHC Green Select Business Accreditation

Christine's hairdressing career began when she won a scholarship to a prestigious hair academy at the age of 15. Moving to Brisbane Christine found her home amongst the head blocks and training books.

In 2004, at the age of twenty, Christine opened Flavas Hair Beauty in Stafford to develop her skills and knowledge. Today Christine still loves to chat with the clients, welcoming them into the Flavas family while creating individual hair colours and styles. Christine promotes communication, education and knowledge is the key to creating the perfect look for her clients.

Ashley has been at Flavas Hair Beauty for almost 3 years, where she has completed her hairdressing apprenticeship. While Ashley finds all colour work exciting her passion is for blondes. Mastering the skills she has learnt while taking great care to improve and develop her own style Ashley has great communication and colour placement skills. Ashley is now working on building a clientele while gaining more experience and knowledge.

Kerrie started her career over 30 years ago at Webster and Wood, eventually managing the salon team of 12. Kerrie has enjoyed the flexibility of Hairdressing and has travelled and worked in many different places, even working in Mozambique Africa. Since returning to Brisbane Kerrie's love for hairdressing has stayed with her and she loves nothing more than creating fresh new style cuts for clients. While Kerrie has seen many trends come and go, she still keeps up to date with new techniques- always learning with regular training. Kerrie loves that she can make someone 'look and feel good.'

How to Book an Appointment

We understand how busy life can be and how last-minute changes can affect your daily routine. We do ask that you be mindful that Flavas Hair Beauty is a busy salon that works strictly with appointments scheduled and we rely on our clients turning up for their appointments on time.

When you don’t attend your appointment or don’t give us enough notice that you can’t attend, that also means that we have turned away other clients because that time was allocated to you specifically for that service for you, which is not fair on other clients trying to secure an appointment.

To ensure we can offer the best services to you and all our valued clients we have in place the following salon policies. We may use our discretion and waive or relax the policy where we deem necessary especially if the circumstance is an emergency.

We greatly appreciate your support of our salon and we will promise to provide the utmost professional service to you with every visit.

• All new clients will be required to leave a deposit of 50 % of the service booking fee to secure their first appointment, which will then be deducted from the cost of your booked appointment.

• All Colour services including E Smooth Treatment and Packages require 50% booking fee, which will then be deducted from your appointment.

• All clients will be sent a confirmation SMS 24hours before their appointment. Please be courteous and let us know promptly by calling the salon 3855 5550 if you need to cancel or reschedule the appointment.
